Today we mark a moment that changed our recent history. It has been 2 years since the tragic conflict in Ukraine, a moment that reminds us of the fragility of peace and life in our world. In these difficult times, we tried to bring a touch of hope and help through the Unspoken Association.
On February 24, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, escalating the conflict that began in 2014. It is the largest European aggression since World War II. Over tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians and hundreds of thousands of military personnel died.
8 million Ukrainians have been internally displaced and 8.2 million have fled by April 2023, generating Europe’s worst refugee crisis since World War II.
Through our united efforts, we intervened to support conflict-affected communities, providing them with vital and humanitarian support. Every gesture of solidarity counts, every action counts.
Together, we were able to offer hope where despair threatened to dominate. May these efforts continue to inspire and bring about positive change in our world.
