If you want to make a difference for thousands of families in Romania, for women and children facing abuse, the Necuvinte Association is the ideal place for you to get involved! Our volunteers are trained to provide support, guidance and resources to victims of domestic violence, as well as to their parents, friends and loved ones.

Which are the qualifications required to become a volunteer?

A potential volunteer should:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate compassion and the ability to listen.
• Have a positive and friendly attitude.
• Be comfortable with working in an environment of social change.

No previous experience in the field of domestic violence or crisis intervention is needed—only empathy, compassion and the desire to help.

Other ways to help:

• English-Romanian, Romanian-English translations
• Professional photography and videography
• Fundraising activities
• Event preparation

All photographs and graphic materials used by the Necuvinte Association respect the copyright and creation and are donated by our collaborators, photographers.

You can help us too! If you are a photographer and you have in your portfolio creations that express abuse in various forms, you can help us in future campaigns and projects, donating those images to us to have the legal right to use them. Always, no matter in what format they will be used and / or printed, they will be accompanied by your signature.

Your image can become the next poster in a domestic violence prevention campaign.
