Services provided by Necuvinte Association

11988506_1020657727970666_8666208398480347652_nNecuvinte Association provides free services to all those who ask for help and want to leave the abusive environment in which they currently live.

  • psychological counseling
  • legal advice
  • shelter
  • legal representation in court
  • the fee for issuing forensic certificates
  • medical tests

You can help us cover these costs.

The amounts are not large, but we do this for all those who come to us, and we sometimes cover more than the approved limit for routine medical tests that are necessary in order to be accommodated in one of the shelters we work with.

For example, the cost of an MRI test without a contrast agent is 600 lei and when one abuse victim told us, with tears in her eyes, that she is drowned in the bathtub every evening so that she recognizes things that never happened, we scheduled her instantly for a test, without thinking of the amount of money necessary for an MRI test.

More often than not, the needs of those who come to us are not even included in the list of services above, but we try, for each and every one of them, to help as much as we can.

If you want to leave the abusive relationship and you don’t want to use our services or any other non-governmental organizations, you should know that:

  • It’s not your fault for his behavior
  • Domestic violence is a crime provided by the Criminal Code and punishable as such
  • The restraining order can remove the abuser from the house, even if it is his property
  • The abuser can be legally constrained to follow psychological counseling hours if you ask for that in your request to issue an order of restriction
  • Do not leave your home along with your children without making a complaint to the police department in advance, in which to state that you are leaving home to go to a friend, family, or shelter! You can be charged with kidnapping minors.
  • You should know that you deserve to live in peace and respect, both you and your children!
