Presentation and awareness-raising event—photographic exhibition on abuse and domestic violence

Launching event of Necuvinte Association, a staged event with music, hot tea, featured short films and artistic photos. It was staged just to show what happens behind closed doors to thousands of women and children in Romania every day.

We were honored by two important interventions in the event, quotes from famous works, recorded by two extraordinary people:

The great actor Marcel Iureş – with a fragment from the Book of Books;

and

George Gadei, vocalist of Travka Band – with a fragment from the Citadel written by Antoine de Saint Exupery.

The displayed photos were artistic creations, not pictures of real cases.

The reality of domestic violence has nothing to do with art!

But our talented photographs captured the pain from several angles and the multiple forms of abuse in an attempt to draw attention to the weight of violence against women and children in Romania.

Important leaders from the political, diplomatic, artistic and business environment in Romania attended the event.
