
Necuvinte Association in partenership with the Romanian Police, the Custom Police and National Agency against Trafficking in Persons launched “Safe together” campaign, information campaign on domestic and gender-based violence, human trafficking, reproductive and sexual rights. The campaign is aimed at women, regardless of age, who enter the territory of Romania, refugees from Ukraine.
The campaign is financed by CORE Community Organized Relief Effort
During this campaign, 100,000 informative materials were sent to the Romanian border points in Romanian and Ukrainian regarding the rights of persons entering the territory of our country.
The objectives of the campaign are:
- Informing women fleeing the war about their rights to domestic and gender-based violence in Romania;
- Increasing access to verified information on reproductive and sexual rights;
- Increasing the level of security of women and girls in Ukraine entering / staying in Romania;
Within this project, information and awareness-raising activities will take place in the 10 busiest border points of Romania since the beginning of the war in Ukraine and in Bucharest.
