Power2HER

Power2HER

Implementation period: October 2025 – April 2026

Financially supported by WAVE – Women Against Violence Europe

Through the Power2HER project, implemented in partnership with the Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection District 5 – Ferentari Community Social Center and with the in-kind support of AVON Romania, we aimed to empower Roma women to gain knowledge, build their confidence and make their voices heard and experiences visible.

Through weekly support group sessions in a safe space, personalized assistance, awareness-raising and education campaigns, the project addresses the intersection of gender and ethnicity, stereotypes and social barriers. Power2HER offers a safe space where Roma women can seek support, claim their rights and promote both individual empowerment and increased public awareness of their daily difficulties.
