During the Crime Prevention Week, the Institute for Research and Crime Prevention has dedicated the domestic violence day, to the street harassment phenomenon and to the modification of the Law no. 202/2002 regarding equal chances and treatment between women and men.

Therefore, today, on the 4th of June, representatives of Necuvinte Association have participated to the event organised by the Institute for Research and Crime Prevention that took place at the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs. During this event, among the participants were also present resident doctors, police officers and Mrs. Independent Deputy Oana Bîzgan – the initiator of the legislative proposal which has introduced fines between 3.000 and 10.000 lei for street harassment acts.
