January publication of Psychologies magazine was published with an interview of our colleague, Simona Voicescu, in dialogue with Iuliana Alexa, the editor-in-chief of the magazine.

A discussion about aspirations, the situation of women in Romania, #metoo movement, the education and the immense capacity that women have to change their society were just a few of the themes of the discussion.

How would you define feminine power?

“Independence, Respect, Safety, Dignity.

Women power is actually the right to a decent life, the right to dream, to dignity. I thought a little before answering this question because everything that came to my mind should be normal by now, but we all know it is not. The roles that we should have are so deeply rooted in our collective mind that our strength is the luck of having a normal life, with hopes, dreams, accomplishments, without any limitation in our path. I’ve been often asked why not have a baby, build a house, plant a tree … why fight for women who do not fight for themselves …

Feminine power is the steadfastness with which you go on your chosen path, with good and evil, with your back straight and the looking ahead. “
