On April 19, at the 9th edition of the Public Participation Awards Gala we were awarded for our success in putting pressure on public authorities in Constanța County to provide services and help to victims of domestic violence. The “Learn to say STOP” Award is a great honor for us and comes as a result of our efforts to open a counseling center, a shelter, and an emergency telephone line for victims of domestic violence in the county of Constanța. Our activity in Constanța was part of the “Broken Wings” national campaign.

All this would not have been possible without the help of the press, especially Radio Sky Constanța and Sonia Simionov from Observator Antena 1, without which our voice would not have been heard by the local authorities and to whom we wholeheartedly thank for the fact that women in situations of abuse in Constanța County, are now finding support and understanding from the authorities.
