Necuvinte Association dedicates the time and energy necessary to educate, protect and heal the victims of domestic violence.

Our volunteers are involved in daily office activities, events and campaigns, discussions and meetings with the victims, and also in fundraising and awareness activities related to the domestic violence phenomenon in Romania.

All Necuvinte volunteers become ambassadors of the cause we are fighting for!

Voluntary service period: September – December 2015 (extendable indefinitely)

We need volunteers interested to become a part of:

The Fundraising Team:

Responsibilities:

  • You participate in fundraising events and activities, thus increasing the number of our beneficiaries;
  • You become an ambassador of our cause and you represent our mission and activity;
  • You initiate, organize and manage events and presentations of our mission to companies, schools and other organizations;
  • You initiate, organize and lead fundraising activities.

The Events Team

Responsibilities:

  • You offer support with logistics (finding location, creating materials for the event, protocol);
  • You check the availability of the guests attending the events;
  • You offer support for the proper conduct of the events.

The Volunteer’s profile:

  • To be aware of his/her ambassador role of Necuvinte Association;
  • Communication, networking, organizational skills, flexible, with initiative;
  • Enthusiasm, responsible, pro-active;
  • Details oriented, team player, creative;
  • Active member of the community;
  • Persuasive;
  • Able to work under pressure and problem solving oriented;
  • Multitasking;
  • Available for a flexible schedule;
  • PC skills: Microsoft Office, Internet (Email);
  • Experience in volunteering as fundraiser or events organizer is plus;

The first meeting will be held in September. Details of the meeting will be communicated to those selected, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
