On March 23, during the “Woman of the Year Awards” Gala, XVIII edition, organized by Avantaje magazine, the amendment of Law 217/2003 regarding the issue of the restraining order within maximum 72 hours award was presented in the category “Advocacy and Violence Prevention against Women”.

We thank Avantaje magazine and Daniela Palade Teodorescu for organizing such a gala for 18 years and for their persistence in bringing in the public eye the beautiful anonymous Romanians that fight and believe in change.

This award is dedicated to all those who had the courage to ask for help to get out of an abusive relationship. They are the true heroines!

Our achievement was finding wonderful people who have supported us in the fight to change the society we live in for the better.
