The second stop of the National Caravan was in Bihor county, in Oradea, where, together with Oradea Townhall, which was our host too, a round table on raising awareness and sensitizing regarding the phenomenon of domestic violence took place. During this event, there was a screening of the “Broken Wings” documentary, we distributed the campaign materials and the comparative study regarding the deployment of the emergency protective order in 2015 and 2016 at the level of Bihor county and the national status, and various discussions regarding the prevention methods against domestic violence, the role of the authorities, informing the population, and helping the victims took place.
Mr. Florin Birta, the vice-mayor of the municipality, Mrs. Florica Cherecheș, Mrs. Rozalia Biro, and Mr. Ioan Cupșa, parliamentarians, as well as representatives of the National Police, Local Police, NGOs, Women’s Union, and the Court participated in the event.
