DOVIRA – Meeting the essential SRH needs of communities affected by the Russian aggression in Ukraine in Romania 

Project financed by UNFPA – United Nation Population Fund through IPPF – International Planned Parenthood Federation.

As part of the “DOVIRA – Meeting the essential SRH needs of communities affected by the Russian aggression in Ukraine in Romania” project, the team of Necuvinte Association is present in the center for refugees opened at Romexpo with informative materials, kits with intimate and hygiene products and medical services.

The project comes as a response to the refugee crisis generated by Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, it addresses women and girls who fled the path of war and is carried out in consortium with Youth for Youth and the SECS Association.

The dignity kits containing intimate and hygiene products were also made with the support of Avon Romania and Kaufland Romania who helped us by donating products.

• Information and support related to domestic and gender-based violence;
• Workshops on preventing gender-based violence;
• Medical services (Pap tests, Gynaecological consultation, Ultrasounds, IUD installation, Blood tests for contraceptive prescription, Abortion);
• Trauma support

Youth for Youth

• Workshops for adolescents and young people on sexual and reproductive health and rights education;
• Training programmes (6+hours) for adolescents and young people on health education (including SRHR), personal development, relationships, prevention on risky behaviours and active involvement;
• Condom distribution;
• Access to pregnancy tests;
• Access to hormonal emergency contraception;
• Referral to SRH services and other services that adolescents and young people might need.

SECS Association

• Gynaecological consultations
• Ultrasounds, transvaginal ultrasounds & obstetric ultrasounds
• Abortion
• Other obstetrics-gynaecology services

• Інформація та допомога, пов’язані з насильством у сім’ї та гендерним насильством;
• Семінари щодо запобігання гендерному насильству;
• Медичні послуги (Консультація гінеколога, Пап-тест, Кольпоскопія, УЗД, Встановлення ВМС, Аналізи крові для призначення протизаплідних засобів, Аборт);
• Підтримка травмування.

Молодь для молоді

• Семінари для підлітків та молоді з питань сексуального та репродуктивного здоров’я та правової освіти;
• Навчальні програми (6+ годин) для підлітків та молоді з санітарної освіти (включаючи УРЗП), особистого розвитку, стосунків, запобігання ризикованій поведінці та активній участі;
• Роздача презервативів;
• Доступ до тестів на вагітність;
• Доступ до гормональної екстреної контрацепції;
• Направлення до служб СРЗ та інших послуг, яких можуть потребувати підлітки та молоді люди.

Суспільство освіти з питань контрацепції та сексуальності

• Гінекологічні консультації;
• УЗД – трансвагінальне УЗД та акушерське УЗД;
• аборт;
• Інші акушерсько-гінекологічні послуги.
